Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounting functions, including month-end and year-end close processes.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for senior management.
- Support external audit requirements by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Identify process improvements and implement internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial services.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
