Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and expense management
- Utilize QuickBooks and ERP systems for financial reporting and data analysis
- Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and SOX compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities in high-volume environments
