Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform thorough bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Ensure full compliance with GAAP, local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Lead internal and external audit preparation, providing clear documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and budget forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong background in remote or hybrid environments.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and ERP systems.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical skills with an unwavering attention to detail.
