Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Assist in the annual external audit process and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee general ledger entries and ensure all journal entries are accurate and properly documented.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns, working closely with external tax consultants.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
