Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Lead audits and tax compliance for diverse client portfolios in entertainment and tech sectors
- Develop and implement financial models for forecasting and variance analysis
- Mentor junior accountants while ensuring adherence to GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Present financial insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA license required
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Expert knowledge of California tax regulations and entertainment industry accounting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proven track record of process improvement and team leadership
