Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for diverse client portfolios including month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Implement accounting controls to mitigate financial risks
- Mentor junior accountants and contribute to team training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions)
- Proven track record of managing complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for client/stakeholder interactions
- Experience with tax compliance and regulatory filings
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
