As a key member of our finance department, you will ensure the accuracy of financial records, manage complex accounts, and provide strategic insights to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filings with federal and state authorities.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure proper journal entries.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Implement and improve internal controls and financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and financial modeling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
