Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently and accurately.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and prepare monthly VAT returns.
- Assist with external audits and ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Support the Finance Manager in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or part-qualified (ACCA final stages acceptable).
- Proven experience in a similar role within the UK finance sector (minimum 3 years).
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (Sage, Xero, or NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
