Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15+ high-growth clients
- Prepare complex financial statements and compliance reports
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with variance analysis
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and conduct training workshops
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage multi-client portfolios with deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Texas CPA license or eligibility required
- Experience with construction/real estate industries a plus
