Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and intercompany transactions
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Collaborate with audit teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth audits
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on accounting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
