Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of monthly and annual accounting close processes with precision and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance reports, and management presentations.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation support.
- Streamline financial processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate financial data for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA certification (or CPA candidate) is highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
