Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and ensure timely payments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
- Conduct internal audits to identify areas for cost reduction and process efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail.
