Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial documentation in ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge of tax preparation and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with multi-state compliance
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in high-pressure situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
