Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate reconciliation of bank statements and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and maintain compliance documentation.
- Conduct internal audits and internal control reviews to identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports for executive review.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a significant plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
