Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliations
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations and SOX requirements
- Develop and implement financial controls and reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Lead internal audits and external audit coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state operations and consolidation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication abilities for remote collaboration
