Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes with precision and adherence to GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory for immediate consideration.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
