Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives to drive strategic financial planning
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
