Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial data entry and reconciliation.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, preparing accurate financial statements for stakeholders.
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure optimal cash flow management.
- Prepare and analyze monthly variance reports and assist in the annual audit process.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP accounting standards and internal control procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the tech or service industry.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
