Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a dedicated professional to manage complex financial operations and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements regarding financial reporting.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns and ensure tax compliance.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Oversee the monthly close process and ensure all deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, variance analysis, and budget preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
