Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely and accurate month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance reports, and budgets in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts, perform reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings to ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a similar role.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
