Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliation of bank statements and balance sheets.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting systems and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and prepare reports.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
