Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliation, and journal entries
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry regulations
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Lead internal and external audit preparations and documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax regulations and financial controls
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
