Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- General Ledger: Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate, timely, and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Reconciliation: Perform complex bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows and reduce errors.
- Compliance: Assist in the annual audit process and ensure all tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with the HR department to ensure payroll data is accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
