Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger, including account reconciliation, accruals, and adjusting entries.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and support external audits.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the budgeting team to forecast financial performance and track KPIs.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and ensure internal control compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
