Your Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and perform monthly variance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
