As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist with annual tax filings and prepare necessary schedules for external auditors.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support budgeting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not mandatory).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
