Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 50+ clients
- Prepare tax documents and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Maintain accurate QuickBooks and Sage 50 software systems
- Lead audits and coordinate with external accounting firms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Proven track record in financial reporting and tax preparation
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel expertise
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
