- Lead month-end closing processes and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations (CA & IL)
- Collaborate on annual budgets and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
- Maintain internal controls audit documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven success with multi-state tax compliance (CA/IL)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
