Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee tax preparation filings and documentation for federal and state requirements
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and compliance checks
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance standards
- Proven ability to manage month-end and year-end processes
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
