Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform complex account reconciliations, including bank statements, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax filings, collaborating with external auditors.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows to ensure timely processing.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain internal controls and financial documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification is a strong plus, but relevant experience is required.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
