Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met accurately.
- Compliance: Ensure all tax filings and regulatory requirements are met promptly and accurately.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and cross-functional departments to resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software is mandatory.
- Skills: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups) and strong analytical abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail.
