Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, reports, and budgets to support executive decision-making.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP accounting standards and internal financial controls.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and support external audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero, and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Deep understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to start immediately and adapt quickly to a fast-paced team.
