Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update the general ledger with precision.
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Support the payroll department with data entry and verification.
- File and organize tax documents and supporting schedules.
- Perform general clerical accounting tasks and data entry.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (or a strong willingness to learn).
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
