Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process optimization
- Prepare and submit accurate tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal and Georgia state regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and cash flow management
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement and improve internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Lead audits and coordinate with external accounting firms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with GAAP compliance
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and tax preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
