Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Assist with monthly financial statement preparation and analysis
- Support tax filing and compliance documentation
- Manage client financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Conduct bank reconciliations and expense tracking
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparations
- Implement internal controls and accounting procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- CPA eligibility or working towards certification preferred
- TX residency or willingness to relocate to San Antonio
