Responsibilities
- Manage daily, monthly, and year-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and review complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and support external audits with required documentation.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the finance team in North Carolina to ensure cross-functional alignment and reporting consistency.
- Maintain and update accounting documentation and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
