Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement process improvements
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities with department heads
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and analysis
- Manage tax preparation and compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage complex financial operations independently
