Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for 15+ client portfolios
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure audit readiness
- Manage tax compliance filings and coordinate with external auditors
- Mentor junior accounting staff through process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial planning and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel modeling
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and variance analysis
- Strong understanding of California tax regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive leadership
