Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance functions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Lead special projects including audits and system implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and month-end close processes
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven track record of process improvement and compliance adherence
