Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 150+ employees
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and KPI dashboards
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and state/federal tax regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy
- Lead external audits and maintain robust internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and MS Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven experience with month-end closes and financial statement preparation
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments and manage competing priorities
