Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors for smooth compliance
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making and growth initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Implement and improve accounting systems and process automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience in audit preparation and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills to present complex financial data clearly
- Experience in high-growth startup or tech environment highly valued
