Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance explanations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with quarterly/annual audits
- Support budgeting processes and forecast accuracy initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations (CA & Federal)
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial analysis projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years' experience
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA designation
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems
- Expertise in month-end closing procedures and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
