Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices with a focus on timely payments.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical financial records and filing systems.
- Support the senior accounting team with general ledger maintenance and data entry.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documentation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in financial data.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills being highly preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to industry-standard accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
