Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Support the internal audit process and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Process expense reports and payroll support as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and government filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
