Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Prepare and file sales tax returns, payroll taxes, and other regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Assist in external audit preparation and documentation requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Missouri state tax regulations
