Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and supporting our client base.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of proven experience in accounting or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
