Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate, complete, and timely.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform complex account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts.
- Compliance & Audit: Assist with external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance internal controls.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
