Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 100+ employees
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial processes
- Assist with budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and IRS regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing financial reporting for multi-state operations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
