Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 diverse clients
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems
- Provide financial consulting to small and medium businesses
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage Intacct
- Expert knowledge of Colorado tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client management skills
