Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Oversee bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and ensure SOX compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during audit season
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite a plus)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles and deadlines
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and client relations
